THE SWEET UNKINDNESS

Several years ago, Penguin Random House Canada began releasing high-quality, low-cost ebooks of titles that have entered into the public domain. The Design team was given the opportunity to create new covers for these classic works with much greater freedom (and much lower budgets) than for print titles. It was a chance to explore new styles, use more hand drawn/self-created elements, and have fun while doing it.
